dc.description.abstractCultural heritage sites around the world are threatened by a wide variety of factors. Over time, these factors can lead to deterioration or sudden destruction. Some of these factors are presented and described in relation to the Umayyad Palace in Amman (Jordan). This site is of great importance due to its central location and historical significance. In order to preserve it, a case study was conducted with the aim of exploring the potential of photogrammetry. Despite the challenge of obtaining sufficient perspectives, the creation of a 3D model is possible using techniques that are widely accessible. Such digital 3D models are versatile and may become increasingly important in the future, particularly in areas such as education, construction, and tourism.en
